The arrest took place on June 27, following an investigation that led authorities to discover the stolen equipment in Thola’s cargo van and a public storage unit.
Thola was booked at the LAPD’s Van Nuys Jail on charges of receiving stolen property. The investigation into the case remains ongoing.
