Marblex and Immutable Form Strategic Partnership with $20M Boost Program
On June 26, 2024, Marblex, a blockchain gaming company from Seoul, South Korea, announced a strategic alliance with Immutable, a renowned Web3 gaming platform. This partnership involves Marblex migrating its platform to Immutable’s zkEVM blockchain, a technology powered by Polygon, designed specifically for enhancing gaming experiences.
As part of this collaboration, a $20 million Ecosystem Boost Program has been introduced to support game studios in integrating blockchain technology into their operations. The initiative aims to accelerate growth in the blockchain gaming sector by providing technical and business support to promising Web2 game studios transitioning to Web3.
Marblex, a subsidiary of Netmarble, plans to leverage Immutable’s advanced blockchain technology to improve security, scalability, and user experience in its gaming ecosystem. This integration is expected to expand Marblex’s global reach and enhance its portfolio of high-quality games, including popular titles like Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds.
Immutable, already hosting over 330 titles on its platform, continues to lead in Web3 gaming by providing robust solutions like the Immutable Passport, a non-custodial wallet, and the Immutable Global Orderbook, which aids in asset distribution.
This partnership marks a significant step for both companies in scaling blockchain gaming and reaching a broader audience, further establishing Immutable’s position in the industry.
